On June 8, 2026, the 2026 Q2 UG-CN Exchange Meeting was successfully held at the AUMOVIO Chongqing R&D Center by AUTOSAR China Hub, marking the first AUTOSAR UG-CN event hosted in Chongqing.
The event gathered AUTOSAR official experts, technical managers and core personnel from domestic and overseas automakers and toolchain suppliers. Participants conducted in-depth discussions on global standard updates, Sino-foreign collaborative implementation and AI innovative applications in automotive standard systems. Mr. Jing Zhe, AUTOSAR Representative to China, and Dr. Thomas Meurers, General Manager of AUMOVIO Chongqing R&D Center, delivered opening speeches together.

- Global Exchange: AUTOSAR Spokesperson Mr. Joachim Langenwalter, Project Lead Mr. Martin Lunt and CAPI Speaker Mr. Steffen Schneider shared AUTOSAR’s latest global development strategy. They detailed ACN Classes practical cases and core CAPI technologies, and updated participants on the latest global roadmap. Their sharing offered solid guidance for Chinese automotive enterprises to keep pace with international AUTOSAR strategy.
- WG and Standards Collaboration: Mr. Zhang Zhengyang, Mentor of WG-Bridge CN, presented the team’s latest achievements and industry innovative technical concepts. He updated the progress of domestic AUTOSAR standardization work and optimized the cooperation mechanism between Chinese and global AUTOSAR working groups.
- AI & AUTOSAR: Focusing on cutting-edge technological innovation, the event featured a sharing from AUMOVIO expert Mr. Pei Tie, who introduced practical AI solutions for AUTOSAR toolchain optimization. Under the moderation of Mr. Jing Zhe, participants analyzed automotive AI development trends. They sorted out future AI research directions, supporting the intelligent iteration of the AUTOSAR ecosystem.
As a key hub for intelligent and new energy vehicles, Chongqing boasts a complete automotive software industry chain and active innovation atmosphere. Local enterprises and technical teams show strong demand for and enthusiasm about AUTOSAR standardized architecture. This international session demonstrates Southwest China’s focus on global advanced vehicle standards, as well as Chongqing’s openness to global technical exchanges and joint development of a unified vehicle software standard ecosystem.
