The AUTOSAR development cooperation is pleased to announce the 10th AUTOSAR Open Conference to be held at the Computer History Museum in Mountain View, CA (USA) with Networking Reception on November 07th and Conference on November 08th, 2017.

Game-changing automotive megatrends are challenging the system architecture of automotive electronics. Growing complexity of embedded systems, safety and security perspectives will need to be considered in the field of autonomous driving, electric mobility and offboard connectivity.

By providing a common specification, architecture and methodology the AUTOSAR development partnership forms the foundation for reliable automotive software standards. AUTOSAR is a strong community of nearly 200 leading companies in the automotive field. AUTOSAR focuses on standardization, modularization with the goal of software scalability and maintainability.

This year’s Open Conference is focused on the new AUTOSAR Adaptive Platform which is being developed to allow software download over the air and service-oriented communication with safety and security demands. The first two Adaptive Platform releases have been published this year. The specification and code implementation is free for use for all AUTOSAR partners over the world.
