Organized Company Visit to TREMEC on Day Zero (26th of May)*
Before the informal get-together on May 26th, we are pleased to offer you a unique opportunity to explore the Belgian automotive industry.
In collaboration with Automotive Tech Belgium, we have arranged a company visit to TREMEC, a leading local automotive company.
TREMEC is a leading global designer and manufacturer of high performance, technologically advanced drivetrains and subsystems for conventional and electric vehicles.
Capabilities are fully vertically integrated: from the machining of gearsets, to the software controlling our torque transfer solutions, we have all abilities in-house.
TREMEC capitalizes on the cutting-edge high performance space, including dual clutch transmissions, hybridization solutions, and electric drive units. At the Zedelgem location (opened 2016) there are over 50 electronic and controls engineers who specialize in developing own controllers and calibrations, R&D, testing and production of dual clutch transmissions and full electric drivetrains for high-end sports car, like Ford Mustang, Chevrolet Corvette, Maserati MC-20.
SCHEDULE:
- 16:00: Pick-up by shuttle bus at the Radisson Blu (Frank Van Ackerpromenade 17, 8000 Brugge, Belgium)
- 16:15: Arrival at TREMEC (De Arend 14, 8210 Zedelgem, Belgium)
- 16:15 – 17:45: Company visit, featuring a presentation and a guided tour of the labs and production facilities
- 17:45 – 18:15: Return by shuttle bus to Radisson Blu
- From 20:00: get-together at the Bruges Beer Experience
